Bronze ADDY Recognizes Fun Kids’ Recording for Corporate Headquarters
(STREETSBORO, OHIO) — March 20, 2008 — Jokes and giggles are what you get when you are put on hold when calling Step2 company headquarters. Recognizing this fun way to spotlight the essence of the nation’s largest toy manufacturer, local advertising and marketing experts from the Cleveland area have awarded The Step2 Company with a Bronze ADDY.
The Step2 Company’s ‘Kids Telling Jokes’ recording was developed as a message for callers on hold and features employees’ children telling jokes complete with their own laughter. Produced by Cleveland based Authentic Films, The Step2 Company’s recording of ‘Kids Telling Jokes’ took home the prize in the non-traditional advertising category at the American Advertising Federation-Cleveland ADDY Awards which took place on February 29, 2008 at the Gray’s Armory Museum in Cleveland.
Each year, advertising and marketing communications professionals submit more than 500 entries for the AAF-Cleveland ADDY Awards competition and the best work from Cleveland’s active advertising community gets recognized by a team of expert judges. Formally known as the Cleveland Advertising Association, the AAF-Cleveland ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing the best in print, broadcast and interactive advertising and sales promotion efforts.
